Dr. Kyon Hood, MD, FAAP

Medical Director
After completing undergraduate studies at Harvard University Extension School, Dr. Hood graduated from St. George’s University School of Medicine in 2001. He completed his residency at UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson in 2004.  As a board certified physician, he has had the pleasure to help patients and families in emergency medicine and primary care settings. As medical director for many years, he has led numerous quality program, ensuring patients receive the highest quality care possible.
 
Dr. Hood has always emphasized treating the patient and not the disease. A holistic approach, focusing on the body’s natural physiologic ability to heal, is the best way to improve desired outcomes and overall health. With Ohio Advanced Medical, Dr. Hood is blessed to have the opportunity to oversee a regenerative medicine practice that helps people live healthier, more active and fulfilled lives.
 
Dr. Hood and his wife Victoria share four children, Ethan (14), Benjamin (12), Hayden (6) and Jackson (2). Their home is made even more complete with Victoria’s grandmother, Mema, living with them, in addition to their three cats. As a family, we strive to put others before ourselves, serving those less fortunate any time a need arises. Dr. Hood spends his free time by volunteering at Lifepoint Church and on medical humanitarian missions, most recently Guatemala, Thailand, Nepal, and Pana

Stephanie Rhodebeck

Nurse Practitioner
Stephanie is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her bachelor’s and
master’s degrees in nursing from The Ohio State University. She has been a registered
nurse since 2006 and an advance practice nurse since 2010. She is nationally certified by
the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Prior to joining Ohio Advanced Medical, Stephanie worked in various settings including
cardiology, geriatrics, and dermatology. Stephanie has trained closely under the guidance
of multiple board-certified physicians in order to develop her clinical skills.

For Stephanie, delivering high-quality patient care is very important. She is passionate
about meeting her patients’ needs so that they can function at their highest ability and live
their best lives. She hopes to provide a unique, individualized experience to each one of
her patients, and leave them feeling their very best!

Stephanie grew up in eastern Ohio along the Ohio River banks. She moved to Columbus to
attend The Ohio State University in 1999 and has been here ever since. When she is not at
work she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. They enjoy many outdoor
activities year round which include kayaking, fishing, hiking, skiing/snowboarding, yoga
and organic gardening.

Keshia Buckland

Office Manager 

Keshia Buckland has experience in management, billing and coding, medical assisting and customer service. She is known as the “jack-of-all-trades” within our office. Keshia’s goal is to treat our patients like family and build lasting relationships from start to finish. She takes pride in helping our patients with any questions they may have regarding their treatment plan, insurance and services in our office.

Keshia grew up in the Madison County area, where she currently resides with her husband (Joel) and two wonderful children (Hayes and Sadie). Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling with her family, hiking, photography and cheering on her Buckeyes!

Alaina Geiss

Medical Assistant

Alaina Geiss is a recent graduate of Huntington University where she obtained a degree in Biology. Alaina has prior medical experience as a hospital phlebotomist, where she would collect important lab tests. Now, she has returned to her home state of Ohio to work as a medical assistant for our practice. She hopes of becoming a physician assistant in the future. With a strong passion for helping others, she excels at patient interaction and is eager to be involved in the integration of stem cell research into the realm of healthcare.

Alaina grew up in Granville, OH with her wonderful family and loving dog. During her college years she enjoyed being a member of the women’s soccer team. Her spare time now consist of exercising, traveling to new places, visiting friends and spending time on the lake.
